Acupuncture is an ancient form of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that has existed for over 2,500 years. It involves the insertion of very fine needles into points on the body that lie on meridians or pathways, along which the body’s life-giving energy called Qi circulates. Needles used are filiform needles which are about 40x thinner than the average needle. Acupuncture can benefit a wide variety of conditions including pain, musculoskeletal disorders (like fibromyalgia), headaches, stress, anxiety, digestive problems, premenstrual symptoms, insomnia, sinus issues, fatigue, as well as addictions, and much more.


Chinese Herbal Medicine

Chinese Herbal Medicine is personalized. Everyone is different.
We can provide the herbal medicine in the form of capsules, teas, or tinctures (for internal use).
For some external problem, we can provide a balm, cream or patch to use.


Cupping Treatment

Cupping is an ancient form of therapy in which round-shaped glass cups are placed on the skin to create suction. This "suction" aims to promote blood flow, which facilitates the flow of "qi" within the body. Cupping can help reduce muscle aches and pains and can also benefit those who have COPD, Asthma, Bronchitis, Fibromyalgia, Cold, Fever, Deep Cough problems.


Tuei Na Massage (Acupressure)

Following Traditional Chinese Medicine principle, using manipulation of acupoints according to meridian theory, and human anatomy. To help increase blood and Qi flow and improve the body's self-healing system, reduce inflammation and relieve pain.


Ear Candling

Practice of placing a hollow candle (made from a fabric tube soaked in beeswax) in the external auditory canal of the ear. This candle is then lit and creates a warm suction to remove earwax and other impurities. Can improve hearing, prevent sinus and ear infections, headaches, and colds.

Growing up, Jamie has always been around Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Acupuncture, and has seen the incredible healing that can come from it. She attended Georgian College and achieved an Advanced Diploma in Acupuncture with Honours in 2020, and became a Registered Acupuncturist with the CTCMPAO in 2022. She has continued her education in TCM by completing a post-graduate Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (TCMP) program in 2023, with intention of pursuing the R. TCMP title within the next year.

Jamie is passionate about getting to the root cause of conditions and helping her patients to live pain-free, and improving their overall health and wellness. Aside from acupuncture, other modalities she uses include cupping, fire cupping, tui na (acupressure massage), gua sha, electro-acupuncture, and auricular acupuncture. Some conditions she has had success treating include: musculoskeletal issues (neck and shoulder pain, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, rotator cuff, tendinitis), headaches, digestive issues, menstrual irregularities, infertility, pregnancy and postpartum care, Bell’s palsy, peripheral neuropathy, smoking cessation, insomnia, and stress and anxiety.

In addition to treating pain and other health issues, Jamie also has a great interest in TCM facial rejuvenation and has completed a TCM Facial Rejuvenation & Cosmetic Acupuncture course by Dr. Diana Tong Li. She is able to provide facial rejuvenation acupuncture as well as gua sha and cupping facials.

When not in clinic, Jamie is often trying new vegan restaurants, spending time with her partner and their four cats, or being active and outdoors.

Chang Shun graduated from Tianjin Chinese TCM College in 1976. After which he attended the Tianjin Chinese TCM University and graduated in 1984. He became a Chief Physician Acupuncturist within the Chinese hospital system. He has gained more than 48 years of clinical experience and treated over 200,000 medical cases. Chang Shun also previously had a role of being the Editorial Director and Managing Editor-In-Chief of the China TCM Technology Publishing Society of the .
